WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
In honor of our son Zach, we team up with businesses, accept donations, and also perform local collection drives to raise money and needed supplies for local charities, athletic organizations (that require sponsoring), and individual families in distress.
Below are just some examples of the help "#GIVEBACKLIKEZACH" has provided.
It's baseball season!
It's baseball/softball season and #givebacklikezach once again has donated to Cove Creek Park. Our children played ball there from t-ball to senior league all-stars. This donation will help those who do not have the financial resources to pay the entry fee or buy equipment. Every child should have the opportunity to participate. We look forward to attending games again this year.

St. Jude's Children's Hospital
Funny story...so March 7th was Zach's Birthday. Family and friends had planned on meeting at Vision Barbeque for dinner. Gabi, one of the co-owners of the restaurant, was a good friend of Zach's and has become family to us. Moose, who is Zach's aunt and co-owner of Moose's by the Creek, was listening to WCYK Country 99.7 on the radio and it just happened that they were collecting donations for St. Jude's Children's Hospital that day. Moose came to Zach's Birthday dinner and challenged us all to donate collectively and take the total amount collected to the radio station om Monday and present it in memory of Zach and in recognition of #givebacklikezach. We collected $1,100.00 that night. We all gave from our hearts. Moose collected donations at the restaurant over the weekend and raised $1600.00 all together.
It's amazing what you can do on a whim when you work together for a common goal.

Local S.P.C.A
We did a supply drive for the local S.P.C.A. at Moose's by the Creek restaurant in Charlottesville, Va.
Christmas Blessings
One of our first projects.
"#GIVEBACKLIKEZACK" and "Mooses by the Creek" teamed up to collect toys that were missing on the "Toys for Tots" list of toys for children in high-risk areas. We also assembled "Blessing Bags" that contained personal hygiene supplies and snacks for the homeless, and distributed them around the Charlottesville area.
Sponsoring Athletic Teams
In 2023 #GIVEBACKLIKEZACH was proud to sponsor a baseball team at Cove Creek Park, in Covesville Va, where Zach played ball for many years.
Ronald McDonald House
"#GIVEBACKLIKEZACH" partnered with "Moose's by the Creek" to collect and deliver, needed supplies, to the local Ronald McDonald House in Charlottesville Virginia.
